Manulife Business Processing Services (MBPS) provides a range of information technology and data centre operations services Manulife companies in North America, Europe and Asia.

MBPS IT Operations teams have expertise in information technology infrastructure and ensure that Manulife's global infrastructure operates at peak efficiancy. IT Operations teams are trained to anticipate and diagnose complex infrastructure problems and react quickly to make sure that business operations continue as normal.

IT Security Administration

MBPS security administration teams manage access to all critical business systems and provide 7x24 hour support to Manulife employees arounf the world. MBPS security administration teams also ensure that all regulatory, audit and compliance policies relating to logical access controls are met.

Global Network Operations

MBPS operations a Global Network Operations Centre (GNOC) that monitors all critical corporate infrastructure such as networks, messaging, public web sites and business applications. The MBPS GNOC operates 7x24 and collaborates with infrastructure services providers and internal IT operations teams around the world.

Global IT Help Desk

The MBPS IT Help Desk provides first line support to Manulife employees in North America. The IT Help Desk teams are experts in trouble-shooting and provide assistance to help end users resolve technology problems.

IT Operations Associates must have an aptitude for numbers, have a natural attention to detail and possess good analytical skills. Most positions also require an educational background in computer science, network engineering or relevant work experience.  For all roles a level of written English proficiancy is required and for help desk teams spoken language skills in Chinese, English or Japanese is required.
