Business processing teams specialise in the products and services that Manulife provides to many millions of customers worldwide and are constantly striving to improve the efficiancy and quality of service using business management strategies such as Six Sigma.

Business Processing Associates (BPAs) joining MBPS receive extensive training that can last from several weeks to up to a year. In addition to process training, MBPS offers a wide range of internal and external training and provides assistance to help BPAs to gain professional designations from international bodies including the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Through their career with Manulife, BPAs can progress through increasingly complex and technical roles while at the same time gaining knowledge and practical experience in the insurance and wealth management profession. Business Processing Associates must have an aptitude for numbers, have a natural attention to detail and possess good computer and analytical skills. Some positions also require an educational background in medicine.  For all roles a level of written English proficiancy is required and for some teams language skills in Chinese, French, Japanese or Spanish are needed.
